“Encouragement to talented students of neighbouring villages”

Sanghi Industries Limited believes in the philosophy of development of all with its growth. In furtherance of this thought, its director Shri Aditya Sanghi decided to get talented children studying in neighbouring villages and those outstanding children, who were continuing their studies after completion of study in village primary schools, identified for rewarding them suitably. 

In continuation with the schemes, which were introduced in the year 2014, a survey was carried out and 66 students of 9 schools studying in Classes V, VI, VII and VIII, who did exceedingly well in their previous session in their studies, co-curricular activities, conduct & behavior, were identified in consultation with their Principals and by conducting personal interviews. The villages are Akri, Baranda, Golai, Gunao, Hothiyai, Jadwa, Motiber, Naredo and Roharo. All  these  students  were given PRINCIPAL’S AWARD FOR MERIT consisting of gift hampers worth Rs.500/- each. 

 Two children, who topped in class VIII, and are continuing their education in class IX, were also identified. They are Rabari Jashu Hamir from Jhadva, whose father is a driver in the company and Ker Anwar Amad from Golay, whose father is a small farmer. These children were given “SMT KAMALA RANI SANGHI SCHOLARSHIP FOR HIGHER EDUCATION” carrying with it a cash prize of Rs. 15,000/- each and a gift hamper containing study material.  

Eleven outstanding students from Kamala Rani Sanghi Public School (Senior Secondary School affiliated to CBSE), studying in classes I to XII were also were selected by a committee of 8 persons. They were given DIRECTOR’S AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE carrying cash prizes ranging from Rs. 5130/- to Rs. 7980/- & gift hampers. 

The  best  all  round  student  Master Pavan Kumar Raut of Class XI was especially chosen for “SMT KAMALA RANI SANGHI MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP” for the session 2019 – 20. He was given a cash prize of Rs 15,960/- & gift hamper. His father Mr. Chhotan Raut is working in the company as a Technical Assistant in Mechanical Deptt – Main Plant for past 13 years.

The function was attended by Principals of all neighbouring Govt. Primary Schools. The chief guest was the President of Sanghi Cement, Shri Rajesh Singhi. More than 250 persons and students attended the function and enthusiastically applauded the Prize winners and performers of the variety entertainment programs presented by Sanghi School students.

Speaking on the occasion the school chairman Mr. Pappu Kumar, while addressing the gathering, said that it was the keen desire of the Company Director Aditya sir that the talented students of our rural areas should be financially helped and motivated to study further so that they could gain professional degrees and get employment in nearby industries.

Addressing the gathering the Chief Guest assured the audience of a lasting & firm commitment from company management to continue its efforts in providing all kinds of encouragement and help to outstanding & deserving students of this area which will ultimately lead to a rise in standards of living and quality of life.

All students and invitees were served meals on conclusion of the programme.
